Digging deep for our mates in need
We started 2020 on a sombre note. Our beautiful home Australia was burning, and had been for weeks. It was the worst bushfire season in the country’s history. Our hearts are broken for the devastated communities, and the human lives and wildlife we’ve lost forever.
But through this crisis, we’ve been humbled by the way the Cotton On family has rallied together to make a positive difference. Thanks to the generosity of our team members and customers, we raised over $1.9M AUD for Australian bushfire relief.
This was a huge collective effort made possible with your support:
- $250,000 pledge by the Cotton On Group
- All employee donations globally matched dollar-for-dollar through January
- All Cotton On Foundation proceeds in Australia donated for the month of January
- $622,000 from the proceeds of Fire Fight Australia tees, designed by Cotton On as the official merchandise partner for the biggest-ever concert for Australian bushfire relief
All funds raised will go directly towards making a positive impact across the pillars of: People, Communities, Wildlife, Education and Environment, through partnerships with Food Bank, Australian Red Cross, WWF Australia, Save the Children, CFA and RFS.
We know there is much more to be done as communities begin to rebuild their lives, and we’ll continue to work together to help get our mates back on their feet.
