This Mother's Day we're shining the light on maternal and child healthcare in Southern Uganda, services that exist to give Mums and bubs the best possible start to life.
Last year in partnership with the Cotton On Foundation we opened a brand new Health Care Centre in Namabaale village. The Health Centre is now a fully operational registered Level 3 Health Clinic that has fast become a hub that works to improve child maternal heatlh and give pregnant mothers a safe space to give birth under the supervision of trained midwives.
1,725 women were supported during pregnancy across the Mannya, Busibo and Namabaale healthcare centres through antenatal care services.
Our health centres work to ensure child and maternal health and give pregnant mothers a safe space to give birth.
