Don’t trash where we splash
Did you know over 12 million tonnes of plastic ends up in the ocean each year? Our oceans and marine life are in crisis and we have a duty to do better—for the next generation, for the planet, and every living thing on it.
We’re excited to partner with Sea Shepherd to support their mission to defend, conserve and protect marine wildlife and the world’s oceans.
Supporting Sea Shepherd's work
Cotton On Kids x Sea Shepherd is an exclusive collection that calls for collective action. To come together. Inspire positive change. And save our seas.
10% of proceeds will go towards marine conservation. Helping to protect our oceanic ecosystems.
Every item is made with care from 100% organic cotton and features limited-edition graphics designed in-house.
Do good, wear good, and feel (really) good.
Reducing plastic use as a family
Beyond supporting Sea Shepherd in their marine conservation work, we’ve pulled together our go-tos for reducing plastic use (that everyone in the family can get on board with!). Because every single piece counts.
#1 Join a Toy Library
You’ll be saving money and plastic waste. Bonus points if you choose wooden toys over plastic.
#2 Sub in Reusable Snack Gear
Single-use clip bags be gone. From snack prep to lunches and drink bottles, go for reusable options—always.
#3 Teach your kids to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
And recover, repair, rehome. That old candle container? Now a great paint brush holder. Thinking out of the box is key here.
#4 Plan a trash treasure hunt at your local beach
A great option for the weekend family outing. You get to spend time together, and Do Good together. (Plus, whoever gets 10 or more pieces is totally getting extra dessert tonight!).
#5 Throw plastic-free birthday parties
Celebrating their yearly milestones is a big deal, but it doesn’t have to take a big toll on our seas. Look to hire themed party packages instead of buying or see what you can borrow from friends and families’ previous kids parties.
Plastic waste is polluting our oceans and threatening marine wildlife; but it’s not too late to be the change we want to see. Together, we can protect our oceanic ecosystems—so we can leave our kids a world to be proud of.
The Good we do as a business
The Good is a Cotton On Group movement to create meaningful change and channel our focus towards the things that matter most. It’s our work in building sustainable futures and protecting our people and the planet.
From the way we do business to the way we approach our partnerships, The Good is part of who we are. We acknowledge our responsibilities as a global fashion retailer to lead by example, including through our Ethical Sourcing Program and sustainability efforts. And there’s nothing we love more than partnering with our customers to drive change in the areas that mean the most to them.
So, who is Sea Shepherd?
Sea Shepherd is a non-profit marine conservation organisation that uses direct action against illegal activities that threaten the biodiversity of our seas. They work to safeguard our oceanic ecosystems and ensure their survival for future generations.
Sea Shepherd is made up of passionate volunteers from around the world that crew their ships to stop illegal fishing, confront poachers and remove ghostnets from the ocean. They also participate in land-based campaigns to clean up our beaches, and educate the public about Sea Shepherd’s mission.
