I was forced to buy another present since the shirt still hasn’t arrived.—it’s been a month! Was this mailed from Madagascar or from the North Pole?!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jodi S from Extremely Uncomfortable, Terrible Customer Service This shirt has very scratchy embroidery in three places. Two of them are covered by a cloth to help avoid discomfort, but one of them is not and is very much irritating. I bought this for my four year old daughter who is very sensitive and picky with clothing, and didn’t notice the scratchy embroidery until I had already taken the tags off and put it on for her to wear. She was immediately uncomfortable and said she refuses to wear it. I still had the receipt and tried to take it back, but the store said they can’t take back an item if the tags have been taken off. I said all I wanted to do was exchange it for a different shirt, was not trying to get a refund, and they still refused me. When I called customer service, I spoke with a manager, and they were very rude about the situation, offering no help whatsoever. I told them this is extremely disappointing, and I will no longer be shopping at CottonOn. I’m sorry, but how hard is it to re-tag a shirt? What a crappy policy, especially since I didn’t want a refund, only an exchange for a different shirt. Also, very irresponsible of them to make a shirt that uncomfortable in the first place, which clearly they knew, since the embroidery is partially covered, not fully. Buyer beware!
