Sorry! It looks like we are experiencing a technical problem, please try again later.
Let’s talk fabric first, because feel is everything. If you run warm, go for breathable cotton and lightweight modal that keep things cool and airy. More of a snuggle-season human? Flannel pajama shorts bring that warm, brushed softness you love without the bulk. Satin or silky styles dial up the smooth factor for a little bedtime luxe, while rib and waffle textures add a touch of stretch and shape that still feels chill.
Fit-wise, we keep it relaxed and easy. High-rise waistbands with soft elastic and adjustable drawcords mean no digging, no drama, just a custom fit every time. Boxer-style pajama shorts give that borrowed-from-the-boys energy, while curved hems and dolphin cuts add a flattering, legs-for-days look. Some styles come with pockets (yes, pockets) for lip balm, hair ties, or whatever you like to keep close.
Prints and colors? Go classic with checks and stripes, lean cute with ditsy florals and fruit, or keep it minimal in neutrals that play nice with everything. Matching sets are your fast-pass to feeling put together, but we’re big on mix-and-match too. Pair your pajama bottoms with tees, tanks, bralettes, and sleep shirts across the range to build a sleepwear drawer that actually works for your life.
We design with movement in mind—so your shorts won’t twist when you turn, and the seams sit flat and comfy. Soft-touch finishes feel good from first wear and only get better after a wash. It’s everyday sleepwear made to last through movie marathons, study breaks, and the occasional sunrise.
Start simple: pajama shorts plus an oversized tee is a forever combo. Tuck the front a little if you want shape, or let it hang loose for maximum lounge factor. On hot nights, swap in a fitted rib tank or soft bralette—the stretch works with you, and the fabric stays breathable. If you’re running between rooms or taking the bin out, throw on a lightweight button-up sleep shirt or a slouchy cardi for instant “I tried” energy with zero actual effort.
Love a set? Choose coordinated pajama bottoms and a matching top for an easy, pulled-together look that still feels relaxed. If you’re mixing, think balance: bold shorts with a clean, tonal top, or a simple short with a printed or textured tee. Satin shorts pair beautifully with a cotton tank for a mix of matte and shine; flannel shorts look extra cozy with a brushed crew or a relaxed hoodie. Add plush socks or slides and you’re living the lounge dream.
Comfort doesn’t have to look sleepy. A crisp striped short with a white tee feels fresh and a little preppy. A floral short with a tonal rib cami reads cute for sleep and coffee. If you love a boxer silhouette, lean into the menswear vibe with a pop-color bralette and an open sleep shirt. Keep it you, keep it easy.
Summer is for breathability. Reach for cotton and modal pajama shorts with airy cuts and light waistbands. Keep tops minimal—tanks, bralettes, or short-sleeve sleep tees—and let your skin breathe. Bedtime hack: choose lighter colors to keep cool and pair with a thin sheet or a light throw.
When temps drop, bring on the layers. Flannel pajama shorts and waffle textures add cozy without overheating your whole body. Top them with long-sleeve tees, fleece crews, or an oversized robe for instant warmth. If you’re a cold-ankles person, add chunky socks or knee-highs and you’re set. On extra chilly nights, wear your shorts over soft bike shorts or thermal bottoms for warmth that still feels free.
In between seasons, play the mix game. Satin or cotton shorts with a midweight knit give you that just-right comfort; swap in a lightweight hoodie or a relaxed cardigan as needed. If mornings feel cool and nights run warm, keep a matching set and a throw-on layer handy so you can dial the temp up or down without changing the whole fit.
Care keeps the good vibes going. Wash your pajama shorts on a gentle cycle in cold water to keep colors bright and fabrics soft. Skip heavy heat in the dryer if you can—low and slow helps elastics and finishes last longer. Flannel loves a light tumble; satin stays smoother when you air dry. Treat them like the favourites they are, and they’ll stay that way.

From classic flannel to silky shorts, from matchy-matchy sets to your own mix, Cotton On has women’s pajama bottoms that fit your routine and your mood.
