From pram naps to puddle hops, our baby knitwear, jackets and cardigans are made for the marvellous chaos of family life. In sizes 0000–2, every piece is soft, safe and easy to layer, so your little explorer can wiggle, wobble and wow their way through the day. Think cosy textures, cheerful colours and playful details that make getting dressed feel like a small celebration. You bring the snacks; we’ll bring the warm, wearable magic.
Baby Knitwear & Jackets for Cooler Days
British weather loves a plot twist, so our baby knitwear and jackets are built for quick changes and comfy cuddles. In newborn-friendly size 0000 up to size 2, you’ll find cardigans that glide over vests, jumpers that feel like a hug, and jackets that block out chilly breezes on the nursery run. We keep everything soft against delicate skin, with cotton-rich blends, gentle rib cuffs to keep sleeves in place, and zip guards to protect tiny chins.
For the littlest stars in 0000–0, easy-on details are everything. We’ve added poppers and roomy necklines for fuss-free changes, because no one wants a wrestling match mid-nappy. For growing movers in 1–2, look for stretch and breathable layers that won’t slow down those first brave steps. Our knitwear is lightweight enough for prams and carriers, but warm enough for seaside strolls and frosty mornings.
Cardigans are the parent’s secret superpower. Button up for the school run, unbutton in the café, and pop back on for the walk home. A puffer or quilted jacket adds the top layer without the bulk, while soft knit jumpers bring the snug. Everything’s machine washable, made for dribbles, drool and the occasional biscuit adventure—wash, wear, repeat, and pass it on.
Cozy Meets Cool: Your Winter Jackets & Knitwear Essentials
When the temperature dips, style and snug can absolutely hold hands. Our baby jackets in sizes 0000–2 are warm without the weight, so little bodies can bend, crawl and cuddle comfortably. Look for fleece-lined hoods for pram naps, quilted jackets for brisk park days, and softly knitted jumpers that team beautifully with leggings, joggers or dungarees. We design knitwear with just-right stretch and cloud-soft textures, so your mini meteorologist can chase sunbeams between showers.
Cardigans are the hero layer for autumn into winter. A chunky knit cardigan over a cotton bodysuit keeps newborns cosier than a cuddle, while toddlers in size 2 can rock a bright button-up over tees for playground adventures. Add a lightweight jacket on top and you’ve got a brilliant, British-weather-proof outfit that’s car-seat friendly when you remove the bulky outer layer before buckling up. Inside days? A soft jumper does the job, no overheating, no itch, just all-day comfort and lots of giggles.
We love a touch of wonder: joyful colours, sweet textures, playful patterns and smile-sparking details that invite imaginations to run wild. Whether your baby is a puddle-splasher, a pram-napper or a sofa-snoozer, our jackets and knitwear make every moment feel a little more magical—and they’re easy to mix and match across the whole 0000–2 size range as your child grows.
Why Parents Love Our Jackets & Knitwear?
Because they’re made for real life. Our knitwear, jackets and cardigans are soft, safe and simple to care for—just pop them in the wash and you’re set for tomorrow’s nursery run. Fastenings are fuss-free, with poppers and zips that make quick changes actually quick, even when a wriggly sidekick has other plans. Seams are smooth, fabrics are gentle, and collars and cuffs are designed to sit comfortably on tiny shoulders and chubby wrists.
Because they fit the UK forecast. Layers are light enough for prams and carriers but warm enough for crisp mornings and breezy afternoons. A cardigan for the café, a jumper for tummy time, a jacket for the dash to the shops—our pieces play nicely together, so you can add or peel back as the weather wobbles. If you’re between sizes, we’ve made it easy: size up for extra layering room and longer wear, especially in those speedy growth spurts from 6–12 months and 1–2 years.
Because style should feel like play. From soft neutrals to cheerful colour pops, our baby knitwear and cardigans make little outfits look pulled together without trying too hard. The child is always the hero: free to climb, crawl and cuddle in total comfort. And when milk dribbles happen (they will), our machine-washable fabrics bounce back, ready for the next story time, snack time, or nap-that-isn’t-a-nap.
Because it’s made for movement, mess and magic. Cotton On Kids brings the fun to everyday dressing, with knitwear that feels like a hug and jackets that ward off the whoosh of a cold wind. In sizes 0000–2, every piece is designed to grow with your routine and your little one’s confidence—from first cuddles to first steps. We’re here for the UK’s drizzly Tuesdays, sunny Saturdays and everything in between, cheering you on with warm layers and a wink.
From cosy cardigans to puffer-light jackets and cuddle-soft jumpers, our baby knitwear collection is ready for every cuddle, crawl and cartwheel to come. Add your favourites to basket and let your small superstar lead the way.
