FreeBFF Terms & Conditions
TEEN / 10th November 2017
2. Entry is free and open to persons between the age of 9-14 in Australia and New Zealand.
3. You can apply to be a Free BFF from 12:01AM on 1st November, 2017 until11.59PM AEST on 31st December, 2017. Only one application per person. Late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected applications will be deemed invalid.
4. To apply to be a Free BFF you must submit an application via the Cotton On Kids website and enter all fields in the application form (“Application”). Entrants must print the parental/guardian consent form and upload the completed form as part of their Application.
5. By applying to be a Free BFF you agree to become part of Cotton On Kid’s database, which is also available to ‘opt out’ of once they commence receiving email communication.
6. Each Application will be reviewed and judged by a panel of Cotton On Kids marketing and communications personnel (“Panel”). The Panel will judge each response according to how relevant and creative it is. All decisions of the Panel are final and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into.
7. There will be up to twenty (20) Free BFF ambassadors selected in total.
8. The successful Free BFF’s will be contacted via email on 8th January,2018. The Free BFF’s must then respond via email within one (1) week of being contacted.
9. Each of the successful Free BFF’s are eligible to receive Free by Cotton On Gift Cards and gift packs with Free by Cotton On products.
10. Cotton On Kids is not liable for any other additional costs associated with being selected as a successful Free BFF or the gifts provided to the successful Free BFFs.
11. If a selected Free BFF does not respond to Cotton On Kids after 1 week of being selected, Cotton On Kids may select a replacement Free BFF.
12. Free BFF gifts are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Cotton On Kids accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of Free BFF gifts. Where a gift is unavailable for any reason it may be substituted with a gift of equal or greater value.
13. Information regarding gifts and how to apply forms part of these terms and conditions. Application to become a Free BFF is deemed an acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
14. Cotton On Kids reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of submissions and the identity of applicants. Proof of application and identity will only be deemed as sufficient at the discretion of Cotton On Kids.
15. If an Application is interfered with in any way or the Free BFF is not capable of being properly operated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Cotton On Kids, Cotton On Kids reserves its rights to disqualify any Application or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Free BFF program, to the extent permitted by law.
16. Cotton On Kids and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with Free BFFs or accepting or using any gift, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law).
17. Cotton On Kids has the right to extend the closing date for applications in its sole and absolute discretion.
18. Personal information provided by entrants will be used by Cotton On Kids for the purpose of operating the Fan Girl Club and otherwise in accordance with applicant’s consent. Cotton On Kids may disclose entrant’s personal information to its contractors and agents in relation to the operation of Free BFF. Cotton On Kid’s privacy policy is available at www.cottononkids.com.au
If you become a Free BFF
19. If you are successfully selected to be a Free BFF, you must do the following things to stay part of the Free BFF Club (which will be assessed in Cotton On Kids sole and absolute discretion):
a. You must post on Instagram or email Cotton On Kids 1 photo per month of quality content; and
b. You must not bring the Cotton On Kids brand into disrepute.
20. Cotton On Kids can remove you from the Free BFF program in its sole and absolute discretion.
21. Cotton On Kids is not under any obligation to re-post your content.
22. Cotton On Kids has the right to use the content you produce across all business touchpoints – including but not limited to Cotton On Kids social feeds, instore video screens, digital campaigns, PR etc.
23. If you do not maintain the requirements to be part of the Free BFF program, Cotton on Kids can replace you with a new Free BFF applicant.
24. Cotton On Kids is not required to notify you if it decides that you are no longer part of the Free BFF program.
