We’ve partnered with Sony Foundation on the exclusive and limited edition ‘Sleep Exchange’ range. It’s pjs with a difference. 100% of proceeds from this collection will go to the ‘You Can Stay’ program. This national program covers the accommodation costs for regional youth cancer patients and their families travelling to the city for life-saving treatment. Helping to keep families together at a time when they need it most.
Home away from home
Every year, 1,200 Aussies aged 15-25 are diagnosed with cancer. Complex cancers like bone, blood and brain are the most common in adolescents, requiring specialist treatment in metropolitan hospitals. About one in three of these patients are from regional or rural areas, which means they have to travel long distances to the city and find somewhere to stay during their treatment period. This often puts an even greater financial and emotional strain on them and their families.
Sony Foundation’s ‘You Can Stay’ program is keeping families together, so that patients have emotional support and stability during their treatment period. Since July 2020, the ‘You Can Stay’ program has supported more than 120 patients with over 8,750 nights of accommodation. The average stay is over 70 nights at a cost of over $10,000 per patient, an impossible fee for any young person or family.

How you can make a difference
Shop to support — Tell your friends about the Sony Foundation X Cotton On range and sleep better knowing you’re helping others sleep better. The exclusive designs feature music icons such as Amy Shark, Foo Fighters and Slash. 100% of proceeds help provide accomodation for regional youth cancer patients.
Make a donation — Sony Foundation Australia raises funds to improve the lives of young Australians with cancer, disability, and experiencing homelessness or at disadvantage.
Refer a patient — If you know someone aged 15 – 25 from a regional area that might be eligible and needs accommodation support, their Doctor can refer them for the ‘You Can Stay’ program.
